The Motion Picture Hall of Fame

When the Motion Picture Hall of Fame was planning to build a permanent home in Atlantic City for their vast holdings of Hollywood memorabilia, they asked Mark Ottmann in his role as Hospitality Design Director for EwingCole, to come up with a concept worthy of this rich trove. His idea was to immerse the Hall's guests literally into the cinema mileau by having them enter through a large back lit unspooling reel of film. And then to walk directly through an oversized lens to the galleries beyond. Along the way, they would also experience a world of cinema lore cleverly presented in camera sprocket like display devices. The entry experience would also have a replica of the Atlantic City Boardwalk's historic Warner Theater Marquee and Ticket Booth.
